Baptism is the start of a journey of faith and we are delighted that you may be considering having your child baptised in one of our churches.

The Church offers a choice:
The Thanksgiving Service enables parents to give thanks for the gift of a new child and for the child to receive a blessing.
The Baptism service requires parents and godparents to make significant promises on behalf of the child. Some parents decide to hold a thanksgiving service before the baptism. This enables you to consider baptism at a later date if perhaps you prefer to let your child make their own choice when they are older.
